Third-Party Providers

The list of providers supported by ONEsite for use with our Social Login feature include, but are not limited to:

By allowing users to sign-up or sign-in through a third-party social provider you are effectively lowering the barrier of entry into joining and participating in your community. One-click login is available, if you choose to enable it, for 3rd party networks such as Facebook. Once a user has connected their Facebook or Twitter (or other) account with their community login, they will be able to use that new login at any time when returning to the community site.

While logged in, users can connect with friends via these mediums and post information and updates back onto their third-party profile without leaving your community.

Focus on Client Needs

When a network decides to allow Social Logins, it is important for that network to collect certain necessary user information for their own needs. ONEsite knows this information can differ from client to client. To that end, the list of information requested for a new user may be completely customized through our Control Panel. This builds upon our already industry-leading registration customization and integration options.

Spotlight - Telstra and BigPond

Telstra is the leading internet service provider and media company of Australia. In September of 2010, they launch a set of communities for BigPond. This included:

• BigPond Sport Nation - a social network for the Australian sport fans - National Rugby League, Australian Football League and V8 Supercar Racing
• BigPond News Nation - a social network for Australians to discuss new and current events.

BigPond was the first official client of ONEsite to begin using the new Social Login feature and also took advantange of ONEsite's many other social integration offerings.
