The new email digest is delivered to users each Friday in the form of a weekly digest summarizing the activity that has occurred on the network.  The digest can be sent out to all users, or can be set to be delivered to a subset of users.

Available Modules

Currently, ONEsite offers a selection of seven of the most popular modules for use in the digest email. These include:

• Profile Updates (of your friends and groups)
• New Friendships (across entire network)
• Your Pending Friendship Requests
• Your Pending Group Invites
• Most Viewed/Active Forum Threads
• New groups created on the network
• Any activity (activity feed) that occurred on any group on the network

Editorial Content

Like all email templates, a network is not limited to content pulled from ONEsite.  Clients are able to add their own text, images, links, ads, analytics and more into their templates.  In the example below, we see that LA Office Lounge has included a full suite of footer information.

Email Template Manager

The Email Template Manager at ONEsite allows networks to customize all outgoing emails sent by the network.  Many, like the new Activity Digest, allow a network to create multiple templates and change which template is active.

ONEsite utilizes a standard editor both for front end users and within the control panel (seen below). When editing an email template, however, networks may utilize what we call ONEcodes which will pull in specific content.  In the image below, we see the ONEcodes built specifically for use in the Network Activity Digest email.

Future Releases

Plans for further updates to this new product are already being made.  This includes the ability to customize the contents of the 'modules' displayed in the email and a drag and drop system similar to our Page Builder and Site Builder.
